    Jailing Wine in a chroot

    Hi!
Maybe you can think that I'm a bit paranoid, but since on my pc I've both linux and windows, I want to be sure that a windows application executed using wine can't damage linux or windows itself.
So I would like to limit wine applications to see only the fake drive c: (if possible). I've tried to do it by removing all the other drives using winecfg, but from inside the application I can stiil explore all my disk by simply using the "go to parent directory" button.
So I think the only way to limit wine applications is to use chroot.
    Do you agree?
Is there any other (simpler) way to do it?
If not how much space is required for the chroot system?
Is it possible to use X applications from a chroot?
If i put wine inside a chroot, can I run it as user?
    Thank you,
    Xwang

PS sorry for my poor English

If the concern is to keep a very hard separation between Windows and Linux, here is the way that I would say is more robust:

The only caution being, Windows on the VM will not have access to the real graphics hardware, only to the SVGA "fake" display. So performance of games will not be comparable to running them on a real Windows installation on the same hardware.
