I found I can export with phpmyadmin..
Or even mysqlimport/export..

It's time to move my server from begin an xp machine to an ubuntu machine.
How do I copy my mysql databases?
Can I just copy over the maps with the *.frm *.MYD *.MYI files from their current map to the map that's going to host the mysql files in the ubuntu installation? That would be the easiest way.
Or do I export them to some ascii format?
Since the first step is in windows, and the second step is in ubuntu, I cannot simply use some backup program.

Ps. I seem to recall I once just copied over the maps with all the databases from mysql over to an ubuntu machine and I could right away use those databases from ubuntu mysql, but I want to be sure because this time the windows files will be deleted.
