I installed Virtual Box 1.5.6_OSE on Kubuntu 8.04 and created a virtual machine but am unable to install Windows 2000 as a guest. The Windows CD won't run. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

are you saying when you start the Virtual machine, it won't boot into Window Setup?
Go into Virtual Box and then select the Virtual Virtual Machine from the left pane. Then on the right pane select CD/DVDROM.
Click the drop down box to see if there is anything else there.
You may find it is not referencing the CDROM location correctly. Also, you can cheat and use an ISO file which I prefer.
