Please do not use the CODE tag when pasting content that contains formatting (colored, bold, underline, italic, etc).
The CODE tag displays all content as plain text, including the formatting tags, making it difficult to read.
You see thats the thing, there seems to be a lot of stuff about getting it to work with gnome. And most people when answering for KDE seem to just advise to change the wallpapers on each desktops via the KDE desktop configuration screen, But this doesnt work becuase Compiz turns one desktop into 4 workspaces. So this obviously copies the wallpaper from the first detector.
Could you point me in the direction of the post your talking about.
I'm with Teunis -- I haven't done it myself -- looks like a long trip down a rough road. If you pull off the feat, post back and tell us the formula.
Meh -- never mind that youtube video -- it is a demo, not a "how to".
In CCSM, there is a "Utility" named "Wallpaper" that you can select. I just tried it, but got no visible results. But I think that's what you need to work with.
