Kopete not seeing my webcam.

I'm running Kubuntu 8.04.1 (Hardy Heron), my webcam is a USB Intel camera, the OS sees the camera however, when I open Kopete I just get a blue screen, under SETTINGS there's no camera listed.

What am I missing?

Thanks for the reply.

Well, I found out that the camera I was plugging in IS NOT compatible, I have another one, an old Intel webcam and that one worked like a charm.

I wish Kubuntu had more drivers available, just like windows.
