I buried a comment this a.m. Was searching for help with
getting Kafffeine to work on my HP 5200. Found out the
following works:
Put movie into drive. then Kaffeine pops up with its
can't find codec install"?"
Now, close kaffeine.
Double click disk icon on the desktop.
Open the folder and double click one of the .vob files.
Kaffeine will restart and offer to download the Codecs.
Click "yes" and you'll get your codecs and a working
copy of Kaffeine.
Close Kaffeine & Eject the movie disc
Re insert the movie & Kaffeine should start up and
then play the movie.
I've always used Totem... Kaffeine is too cool.
