Hi all:
After doing the updates on Hardy (fresh install) I realized my printer isn't detected by default (usb). So I clicked on add printer and it shows me several iterations of my printer so I finally clicked on one, but it just seems clugdy. It printed a test page and took forever. Seems like last time it didn't ask my to pick my printer or model etc.
Is there a better way to do this since the install doesn't install the official HP printer drivers during install? Last time I did a kubuntu install, it was just there and worked like a race horse. Even the last version of debian I used had this support and I really liked the way it printed fast and clean.
Thanks much for any help.
