    nepomuksearch in kubuntu 8.04

How can i enable nepomuksearch in kde 4.1 ? I use kde-nightly in one computer and kde 4.1 stable in the other one but none of these has nepomuksearch kio enabled, anyone knows which package should i install or what should i do?

One other question, can i use the kubuntu's kde 4.1 packages to compile thins such as digikam, k3b, etc?

I'm not a user of nepomuk -- here's everything I know about it:

Why would you want to compile packages that are already available in the standard repositories?

the problem is that when i type
nepomuksearch:/xxxxxxx in konqui, dolphin, folderview it says that nepomuksearch protocol not suppoerted, that's why i'd like to know how to enable with kubuntu packages, and if it's not possible i'll have to compile.

I would also like to use digikam and k3b for kde4 (even if they're alphas) but i want to know if i can compile against kubuntu packages or should i compile the whole thing.
