KDE suspend and hibernate buttons: how to bind them?

    Hello all,

so after reading left, right, front and back I finally managed to get suspend and hibernate to work as I want them to in my desktop pc. That is, if I call them manually: sleep.sh and hibernate.sh. My problem is that the KDE3 log out pop-up does not do the same thing as the above mentioned scrips: hibernate works but immediately wakes back up the machine, suspend works but it presents me with a locked screen when it is configured not to in acpi-support.

The question is what that pop-up calls exactly, must be something else that straight sleep.sh and hibernate.sh, and how can I change it, if at all possible?

It is weird that I have everything working as expected but the GUI wants to do something else!

    Thanks in advance,
    Claudio.

Hi since suspend and rebbot do not work for me, I would like to remove them from the gui. Is it possible?
      How?
      Thank you,
