I just started to notice that when I reboot my system (AMD X2 64 bit running Hardy 8.04 with all updates applied) when it gets down to "starting event manager" it says fail... I don't notice anything different on the system (as far as it's usefulness) or any problems with the apps. I read somewhere that the event manager is related to or is the udev system. I have checked and the udev is checked for starting on boot.
Anyone else see this?
