I'm running Kubuntu 8.04 with KDE 4.1. What I'm trying to do is set my computer up with a static IP address on my LAN. I have a linksys wrt54g router.
When I right click on Knetworkmanager and go to manual configuration, I see where I can enter the SSID, ip address, subnet mask, gateway etc... however, the only option for entering encryption parameters is WEP. I use WPA encryption. Is this just a limitation of Knetworkmanager?
If there's no way to do what I want to do with Knetworkmanager, does anybody know another way I can give my computer a static IP?
Thanks
