While using the folder view widget, when ever I scroll through the folder Xorg causes 50% CPU usage (one core, dual core system) and the scrolling is very slow.
I noticed a similar effect with Dolphin when I have a split view and select a folder or file or try to scroll and it will freeze up for long periods of time. The only difference here is very little CPU power is being used when this happens.
I normally have compositing (Special Effects) on but I tried it without and the same thing happens.
I'm using the 173.14.05 Nvidia driver on a Geforce 8800GTS 320MB.
