    Keyboard Shortcuts Are Messed Up

I noticed that about 2-3 weeks ago a lot of my default keyboard shortcuts seemed to disappear. for example in kde 3.5.9 alt+f2 should open the run dialog box, yet somehow it was switched to super+r, even though in kwin and compiz it is defined as alt+f2!

    same thing happens with:
ctrl+escape would open the kmenu, which it no longer does
alt+escape would open ksysguard, which it no longer does

control+alt+delete opens a small box in the upper left hand corner that gives me the option to either log out or open ksysguard.

id love to have this fixed because i would like the forward button on my keyboard (its an extra button with a pic of a guy running and it says "go" under it) open up the run dialog and i would like to configure various other extra buttons, but right now i cant....

Are you using "KDE Default with 3 Modifier Keys" ? or something else ?

KDE is saving modified shortcuts in the ~/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals.
    [Global Shortcuts]
    Activate Window Demanding Attention=default(Alt+Ctrl+A)
    Block Global Shortcuts=none
    Defaults timestamp=Feb 1 200811:35:50
    Desktop Screenshot=default(Ctrl+Print)
    ...
Maybe renaming kdeglobals helps > Topic: Kubuntu Desktop Issue
    - log out
    - log-in in the text mode
    - rename ~/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals
    - log in with the graphical login screen. KDE should build new kdeglobals with the default settings
    Before you edit, BACKUP !

Why there are dead links ?
