Hello,
My motherboard has an integrated Realtek audio chip, the ALC1200 HD audio.
But aplay tells me that it's detected as an ALC883.
And the sound is really bad - I get digital noise mixed with audio, and strange loops. Listening to music is impossible.
What can I do? Is my audio chip supported by ALSA? If it is not, what can I do, considering that I can't add any PCI cards to the PC? An external USB card maybe?
Thanks
Cristian
