Whenever I enable Compiz Fusion my KDE System Notifications just vanish...
I mean the sounds like: windows maximize/minimize/stick/resize/etc...
However the other sounds (from players, amsn, skype) do work normally
I tried sabayon-linux some time ago, and these sounds did work with CF enabled
It happens in 2 different systems (laptop and desktop) with different VGA boards, if I disable CF sounds will come back again!
Anyone else with similar problems?
How to fix this?
TIA
ps. I saw this report in a fedora forum:

For those who are wondering why they can't hear the KDE system sounds when the fancy desktop effects, or sometimes keyboard shortcuts don't work right, it's because compiz is doing the window management and they will have to use gconf-editor to change the settings for compiz (KDE settings aren't being used).

Does it make sense?? What this "gconf-editor" has to do with KDE? What is it for? Isn't it for gnome only?
