Hello All:
I have recently just installed Hardy and purchased Mathemetica. I have it installed in the default directories suggested by the mathematica installation script. However, when I type
mathemtica
at the prompt, the screen goes blank and logs me out. I tried making an alias to start Mathematica via:
alias mathematica='mathematica -noSplashScreen'
Still no dice....
Any ideas?
Cheers,
t.
Turns out it was a "corrupted cache." Followed the instructions on the Wolfram website and got it cleared up. Oh, right...the solution...
mathematica -cleanStart
