I reported this problem on the Opera support forums as well, however no one was able to help (apart from a vague suggestion to disable ipv6)

I basically gave up, however now I reinstalled Opera and I am having the same problem as before.
The problem before was that Opera didn't display any web page apart from google (or any other website I could find). Now when I reinstalled it it doesn't display any web page at all, it just sits there for around 15 seconds and then displays the generic
The error console for opera isn't outputting anything
I have a sneaking suspicion it has something to do with the plugins or something, but Im not 100% sure.
I am using the latest opera stable release, shared library from the http://deb.opera.com/opera/ (non-free/stable) repository.
Does anyone have any ideas?
