Strange Ktorrent behavior. (SOLVED) (sort off)

after the update from 2 days ago, KTorrent has started to act rather strange. It turns gray and normal and gray again and again. It is downloading, but seems to stutter. I have seen this with only one download and slow download rates, but also with 5 or more and speeds up to 700Kbs (falling down to 200 Kbs, and up again) any ideas around here? A purge and reinstall maybe?

Are you running Compiz? that is, do you have wobbly windows and stuff?

If so, it means that ktorrent is very busy and not responding to input at the moment.

On a Duo core intel? Erm Yes i have Compiz running (have been for a long time) but until 2 days ago never seebn this behavior in KTorrent. I Will try what happens when i kill off compiz and return to standard interface.

Oke, i have tried it without compiz, and see the same behavior, not the gray stuf, but a long pause in screen updating and a drop in speed and then a short time of normal functioning. Also very slow response to any use of menu in KTorrent :-(
Seems like i have to start looking for a replacement sigh..
I see the same troubles with no other program then KTorrent running btw.

Not realy the way i wanted to solve this, but i am impatient ;-) so purge and install did the trick, running smoothly again. Strange never seen this kinda thing before.
