i just got a tv tuner card (hauppauge wintv-pvr-150mce) i googled how to install, but came up short on results for hardy. i attempted to install ivtv couldn't get it working. can someone direct me to a functioning how to or wiki, or take the time to give me run down on this. I've been trying for numerous hours now and really appreciate the time.

man now i feel like i wasted the last 6 or 7 hours. worked like a charm the only difference i came across was when setting the input jack number mine was 2 instead of 1 took a whole 5 minutesComment

Glad to have been able to help. Of course, all credit goes to dibl who wrote the Howto. He too, spent many hours getting it to work. To spare others the pain, he put the Howto together for others to benefit from. Looks like you are one of the beneficiaries.
