just got an ipod and checked the kde handbook, followed the directions but i can't get my amarok to connect to my ipod. the handbook says to have the ipod mounted to /mnt/ipod can't get it to accept that line. thanks for what info you have.

I don't think all Ipods mount that way on all distros.
There is a menu option to Configure Amorok. Choose that. One of the tabs will tell Amorak to search for your Ipod if it can't find it automatically.
I just use the right mouse button option on the Ipods icon. Then I just choose the "mount" option. Do this before you configure Amorok
