Dolphin problem

Hi

I get this Dolphin error (on kubuntu 8.04) once in a while - but when it occurs it is very irritating since
evening pointing at a file triggers this error again and again - essentially not allowing
one to click and open/execute a file.

The popup window titled "Error Dolphin" has this text:

The desktop entry file
/usr/share/apps/d3lphin/servicemenus/amarok_addaspodcast.desktop
has an invalid menu entry
addAsPodcast
-------------

Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Is it a dolphin or amarok bug?
BTW, there are no music files (mp3s or whatever) in the folders where this happens.

Thanks a ton Snowhog for pointing me to a fix....

Another quick question: How does one disable the mailto icon on the left of this posting?
In the profile, I changed the settings to hide my email id - but there has been no effect.

Any suggestions there would be of great help.

You're welcome. Use the Forum search utility when you have a question. You will be surprised at what has already been asked and answered here.

The hide email option only hides your email address from non-registered members (guests).

but I dont see your email id.... what did you do to disable - I just want to ensure that
my settings are like yours - just the profile and the IM part

For your personal settings click on the arrows at the left to of this page ad choose your personal settings. there you can edit at your leasure

Okay, now I have to 'assume' here. When you click the hide email from public, it does in fact hide it from Forum users. It doesn't hide it from yourself! Mine is checked this way, and I can see my own email when I put the mouse pointer on the icon.
