Today I just installed kpackage-kde4, at the very first launch, it listed all my installed packages + available packages + etc ... absolutely spot on. i.e. when I chose to display all package it gave me all package, when I chose to display "installed packages" it only gave me installed packages.
However, after I clicked the "Update" icon on the tool bar, weird things happened. Since then it only showed me some available packages it got from its "update" process. It never showed my installed packages again, for example, the common "knotes" package was no where to be seen in KPackage-kde4!
If I uninstall kpackage-kde4, and installed the old KPackage/KDE3, then it worked beautifully. It constantly showed correctly all my installed packages, plus available packages that I could choose to install should I want to.
Obviously since I am now running KDE4 desktop I wanted to use KPackage-KDE4, but the above problem was really annoying. I had tried to figure it out but really could not find how to let KPackage-KDE4 to show my installed packages (i.e. KNotes ...)
Any idea would be appreciated. Thanks.
