Logout Fading Effect Corrupted

Hi everyone!

Got a problem here - Kubuntu Hardy, compiz, nvidia glx drivers. When clicking 'end session' the 'fading to gray' effect appears broken. It draws a black screen on the part that wasn't faded yet.

Any possible workaround?

I guess this issue does not get any attention because.

1) Guess compiz still is a little crazy ;-)
2) Nvidia glx drivers are random ;-) try the official nvidia drivers from their site.. it works for me, but many ppl argue to use envy because it's more buntu friendly.
