        mmm...
        does an icon pop up on your desktop when you hook up your ipod?

        if it does, then it's just a matter of going to "settings -> configure amarok... -> media devices"
        and select the "apple ipod" plugin to manage the device.
        see here.

        if the icon doesn't pop up, then, maybe this is for you.

        other than this, i wouldn't know.
        i ditched apple's ipods a long time ago.

        you should be able to find a lot of info on this forum about this issue, though.
        with so many ipods out there...
        try simply "search" for "ipod".

          Try installing gtkpod from the repositories; a friend installed yesterday and it works well with KDE4 and Amarok.
