Getting my colour back - Digikam in monocrome on TV

    Hi
I connected my laptop (with HardyH, Kubuntu 3.5.9?) to the TV (with a SVGA cable) and it worked the 1st time - BUT all the colours have gone on the TV (the TV still has colours as shown by the sound bars etc), but the colours of my photos are gone on the TV (while the laptops shows the colours correctly).
Who can help me get my colours back?

My guess is that you are using the wrong TV system (PAL/NTSC). Either get an RGB cable with a SCART plug if possible (probably not, if it's a laptop) or try to find a setting where you can switch between the systems.

Hi, I'm not sure what you mean by 'switching between the systems'.

I'm at the wrong computer now, so I can't check, but there should be a video system output setting somewhere where you can switch between NTSC (USA/Japan) and PAL (the rest of the world).
