Suspend taking ages to come back.

Ever since upgrading to 8.04, my machine (acer C111tci), takes about 90 seconds to drag itself awake again. This feature was always only 80% reliable for me under 7.10 - sometimes it would simply freeze and need a reboot - but now appears more reliable but takes so long that my clients are starting to tap their desks as they wait for my machine to get into gear...

What's changed? Is there a solution?

True. It does work, but it was never slow under 7.10, what's changed?
