No Sound in Kubuntu 8.04 on Second Generation MacBook

I'm kind of new to Linux so be gentle. I am kind of getting the hang of the command line though. Anyway. I've looked online and found the MacBook guide on the Ubuntu wiki, but it's not quite working for me. Anyway, any tips you could give, that would be great. Just let me know information you need to help me and I'll try and get it.

EDIT: Oops, thought I was in the hardware forum but wasn't. If a mod could move this, that would be great.
