    Firefox freezing

    I have a strange problem on 8.04:

Running Firefox (2.0.0.14), the computer seems to freeze randomly, and the caps lock and scroll lock LEDs start to blink. However, this does not happen while browsing with Konqueror.

    Any ideas?

If you need any system information, please ask. I will try to post what you need here. Thanks!

Why don't you use firefox 3 beta 5? If it continue to happen, I have no idea.

I found out that it was some kind of conflict with the WLAN card - after trying to install the driver (Ralink rt61 - installation didn't work), I switched to ndiswrapper, which seems to work fine now.

this can be happening because of you Xorg server.
check your version to see if it is the last stable release.

i had the same problem at my kubuntu and i fixed it like this:
