In KDE (3.5.9) I happened to be using dolphin, and sent some stuff to the trash can. I hit that Trash icon on the left pane inside of Dolphin, saw some stuff in there, so I right clicked it expecting to see something like "remove the trash". The only option was delete. So, thinking (as I'd think just about anybody would) that this meant delete the trash data, I hit delete. instead, it deleted the icon. Now I don't know how to put it back. Any suggestions?

Re: How to put back the Trash Icon in Dolphin
Glad to help. So just remember: when you click on the Trash icon in Dolphin, if there are items in the Trash, right-click in the large window to the right (that shows the contents of Trash) and select Empty Deleted Items FolderWindows no longer obstructs my view.
