I'm having problem listening to sound coming from the internet (let's say youtube), via either firefox on konqueror. I am however able to listen to sounds from multiple sources (amarok, kaffeine, skype). I am not sure if it is the web browsers or the flash plugin used for this. Does anyone already had the problem, solved such a problem or would know how to solve this. (sound is on at moment of problem, speakers are plugged-in
)

- firefox 3.0 beta 5 (does not play sound on 2.0 either)
- konqueror 3.5.9
- Shockwave Flash 9.0 r124 (File name: npwrapper.libflashplayer.so)
- Ensoniq Audio PCI (old, but always did the job
- opteron 242 x 2
- msi k8t800 master2 far motherboard
