    Dolphin Thumbnail Problem

    Hi everyone,

    I guess this is my first post on the kubuntu forums, I've been using ubuntu for some time and i just switched to kubuntu a few days ago.. I totally love the OS. except it still has tons of bugs..

    I dunno if anyone else has this problem. but i can't seem to see any video thumbnails on dolphin or konquerer.
    Image thumbnails can be seen but not video thumbnails. does anyone know why?

    Please help. i'm a complete newbie here.
    i use Kubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron, KDE 3.5.9

    Do you have ?:

    mplayerthumbs - thumbnail generator for video files on Konqueror (and Dolphin/KDE)
    or
    libarts1-xine aRts plugin enabling xine support

    and Konqueror > Settings > Configure Konqueror > Previews & Meta-Data (allow previews)
