Compiz and Freemind

Hi there,

I'm using Freemind on Hardy, and I recently tried the Desktop Effects, but the effect on Freemind fonts is devastating. Interestingly, everything else works fine, it's just the fonts that look terrible (all the fonts).

Any idea how to fix this? Many thanks for any input.
