gdebi-kde eats resources even when nice level is 19

Hi.

I start gdebi-kde at nice level 19:

sudo nano /usr/share/applications/kde4/gdebi-kde.desktop

Replaced the Exec line with: Exec=nice -n 19 gdebi-kde

Still the gdebi-kde app almost kills the whole system when installing software from kde-desktop GUI.

Does anyone have any luck with tweaking gdebi-kde??
