ndiswrapper stops working after installing virtualbox-Solved

Hi folks. I'm new to Kubuntu and am so far enjoying it. I use a PCMCIA card for wireless connection (D link DWA-642) and it works flawlessly with ndiswrapper 1.9. After a couple of days with the new OS, I installed Virtualbox (which also ran well) using adept, with XP as the guest OS. The problem came after rebooting with vbox installed--- my wireless card became inoperative. I ran lsmod and ndiswrapper no longer showed up. Tried modprobe ndiswrapper and got the error message 'FATAL ndiswrapper module not found. As I said, before vbox was installed, ndiswrapper and my networking card ran perfectly.
I formatted and reinstalled HH. Again, ndiswrapper, therefore wireless, worked until vbox installed.
    Any ideas??
    Thanking you in advance. Goldie

The problem was due to operator error. I goofed up. I installed the improper modules for my kernel. I reinstalled Kubuntu and loaded the correct vbox modules. All is well
