Firefox does not show web fonts

Firefox does not show old english fonts now, it did before the upgrade the other day. The fonts are in the system wide area, OO shows them, can anyone help me on this, Windows does show the web site correctly. I am using Firefox 3 Beta 5

ubuntu 8.04 comes with firefox-3, this is not a stable version yet
you shuld remove it and install firefox-2
after you will do that there will be a small problem thet can be fixed easily
