    Easy cd backup solution wanted

    hi all,
I've been looking for a simple (read:GUI) cdrom based solution to backup for my whole system as after 2 years using one flavor or another of Linux I finally have things as I like them. I've used a few backup programs, and unfortunately they don't seem to be working well, or I did something wrong. What suggestions does everyone have based on this:
    1. GUI
    2. backs up on cdrom
    3. will split it up since of couse it won't fit on 1 cd.
    4. does automatic, incremental backups and reminds me to burn it to cd occasionally
Am I asking too much? I'm not good at terminal to remind you.

You could try remastersys, it dosent have an GUI but it's pretty straight forward.
Only one thing, it dosen't work for me...
Maybe you'll have better luck with it, you can even back it up on DVD so you don't worry about makeing 2 or more CD's. Or you can save in ISO and burn it anywhere (if you don't have DVD burner)
I'm magnet for errors, problems and bugs...

Not sure exactly, but have you looked into Partimage?

Another classic method is to use the dd command. Requires some study.
