Gimp 2.20 wont compilie? the configure script says gcc wont produce executables. and when i try to compile a basic hello world script i get ld errors... i think the problem is in the linker. what can i do to get gimp to compile.

And why 'compile' Gimp, and not simply select it for installation with Adept Manager, or from a console shell with:
Code:sudo apt-get install gimp
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
