vncserver on new install of v8.04 as a vmware guest machine. vncviewer on XP can connect but display is a scrambled screen but can connect fine to other linux guests. have edited xstartup to start kde, but still not much use. new to ubuntu so what's the deal with it and getting a vncviewer to display correctly? google has lots of links regarding this and i made many suggested changes from those links but no solution for me.
