I was waiting until after the official 8.4 release to see if this issue was cleared up, but it wasn't. Every time I reboot my system or log out and back in, my mouse acceleration is reset to the default 2.0. Coming from the Mac I much prefer a slower mouse. Does anyone know of a solution? Perhaps a text file somewhere that I can save a new default. I'm running KDE 4.0.3 for the record and will also be posting in KDE forums. Thanks.
