    Modifying Window behaviour

Is it possible in Kubuntu Hardy to modify window behaviours so that when I re-open an application or folder window it remembers it's size and location from the last time I looked at it.

Having to resize and reposition an application every time I open it is horrendously frustrating.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Thank you both - that's very helpful.

Is there a way to make it the default behaviour for all windows to remember their size and position rather than a separate custom configuration for each window?

Don't know if this will help in this, but worth a shot.

Open a Dolphin window. Doesn't matter if in your Home or where in the file system, just a Dolphin window.

On the menu bar click Settings --> Configure Dolphin...
Once the config screen appears, click on View Modes. In the first TABed area is View Properties. Those two settings determine if your settings for Common Properties or Separate.
