Horizontal switching between desktops... want to disable.

Hey, how do you disable the function that lets you switch between your desktops by just moving the mouse to the left/right of the screen?

    Thanks,
    Mitch

I didn't even know such a function existed. At least not in KDE. Is this KDE 3 or 4 (or something else?)
I am running Ubuntu 8.10 (yes Gnome) with upgrades applied daily about 0900 UK time. Hardware is Dell Precision 420, 2x 800 MHz PIII, 512 MB RDRAM, nVidia GeForce 6800 128 MB AGP graphics, 18GB SCSI and 500GB IDE HDDs, DVD burner, Hauppage TV card.

i'm on KDE 4, and when you move to the extreme right of the screen (or left) it goes to the other desktop (say Desktop 1 then Desktop 2) as if it'd was in dual screen

In KDE 3.5 it's in System Settings > Window Behavior > Advanced.

Under the Active Desktop group, make sure the 'Disabled' radio button is selected.
