The module Monitor & Display could not be loaded

Anybody else still having this bug?

It's being talked about at launchpad https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...ce/+bug/173768 and it says 'fix released', but I still have it.

A solution that was succesful for others is 'sudo aptitude reinstall kde-guidance', when I do that it says:

Removing any system startup links for /etc/init.d/displayconfig-hwprobe.py ...

So apparently it sees something is wrong with the module, but it does not fix the issue.

running displayconfig from the commandline stumbles on an error where the python script can't read values from the xorg.conf file.

File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.5/xorgconfig.py", line 771, in readConfig
    raise ParseException,"Unknown line type '%s' on line %i" % (first,line)
xorgconfig.ParseException: Unknown line type 'section' on line 54

It's probably not that big deal, and one may question the usability of the module now with the new xorg.conf, (I read it can not even write one) but it looks better when it works.
