    Compiz: windows borders dissappeared

    Hi,
I've installed compiz on Kubuntu 8.04.

I've the well known problem of the disappeared windows borders.
I doesn't manage in solving it.
I've tried to change Backend option form KDE to flat-file; I've also verified the --replace option in "window decoration" effect.

    please help me!
    Thank you in advance.

Dont know if its the same problem but i got something similar. When compiz is on, the active folder/program has the window decoration but when it becomes inactive it dissapears.

I've got exactly the same problem here, whenever I enable the desktop effects all my windows (except the active one) loose their decoration...
Really annoying and I cant find a solution... (been busy looking on the forums for two weeks now but no result)
I wind up with removing the desktop effects completely now all is normal again, but without the desktop effects..

If someone has a workaround or nows about a solution, please be so kind to post it here..
