I struggled with Firefox 3 for a while and realizing that it is beta decided to go back to Firefox 2. I did an apt-get remove Firefox and then an apt-get install Firefox-2. I still seem to have both versions installed and can start either one. My extensions have become a mixed bag of 2 and 3 versions. Neither of the versions has a back button no matter which theme I use. How can I wipe Firefox clean and start anew with Firefox 2?

Re: Remove and reinstall Firefox as Firefox 2
I did:
Code:sudo apt-get remove firefox
Code:sudo apt-get autoremove
Code:sudo apt-get clean
After those steps I choose explicit the Firefox2 package and I was happy again...no slow scrolling, ugly checkbox FF anymore
BUT, I'm not an expert...
