    MPlayer is listed as proprietary software

    Only the interface 'KMplayer' is listed otherwise...I thought MPlayer is published under GPL2?

    This package is built with faac and amr support enabled. Therefore, it is in Medibuntu as it is not freely redistribuable.
    Which probably accounts for why it is identified as proprietary.
    Windows no longer obstructs my view.
