How to stop the filemanager opening on inserting usb key / drive

When I insert external usb drives / key Dolphin automatically opens. From external usb keys I may have 2 to 4 partitions installed and having 4 instances of Dolphin opening is unneeded.

Is there a way on inserting a usb key / drive to have kubuntu automatically mount the drive / partitions "silently"?

Help with this would be much appreciated

      Thank you for this information.

The options for "Unmounted Removable Medium" are Open in New Window, Download Photos with digiKam, or Do nothing". If I choose "Do nothing", the usb key is not mounted but only an icon is shown on the desktop (I would need to mount it manually ie by double clicking it).

What setting do I need to set to just mount the usb key on insertion? Could you help with this? Or is not possible under kubuntu?
