Just installed Hardy Heron and trouble!!!

I just got my hands on the hardy ISO. Got the alternate version and installed me a command-line system. I had already set up all the partitions with gparted livecd. Everything went smoothly but when its time to time i get "Error loading Operating System"

I'm not sure if this is GRUB message or my motherboard not picking up any hard drives.

    Please Help!!!

Error loading operating system is a bios message! If you can get a Windows 98 boot floppy (or DOS) and at the dos prompt type fdisk /mbr that should fix your problem! It sounds like the master boot record wasn't written for some reason. The other way is to boot with your Kubuntu CD in live mode & go into qtparted & select the drive in the left hand column then pick your ext3 partition in the right pane right click on it a select make active.
