    Solved: Wine and giecko

My daughter wants to play a yahoo game called "jo-jo's fashion show" she d/l it to my desktop but she told me it wouldn't run. So I knew it was M$ based so I opened dolphin and went to my desktop and then right clicked it and told it to run using Wine. It instaled with no problem but when I run it it comes up and asks if I want to instal gieko support so I tell it yes and imediatly the window opens and says HTML rendrering is disabled.

It had said the same thing in GG when I tried to run Wine's IE. But as I used firefox it was no big deal. Now my daughter says my computer is a freak.

    Any help will be welcome!!!

Solved as for jojo's fashion show. I got the paid for version and it runs. as for gecko I instaled it according to winehq, it doesnt ask to download it anymore but still says html rendering disabled.

No, Shift + Delete my daughter IS NOT an option

When I started on Kubuntu, I was hoping never to go back. I have it set up as a dual boot but haven't been in windows for weeks. Yeah me!

You might check the WineHQ and its AppDB to see what other have found about that application and if there are any work around for the problem. Another possibility would be to use VmWare or one of the other virtual machine software option and create a Win XP client.
