Removing menubar

Using kubuntu 8.04

I have installed/configured/setup a menubar at the top of the screen, but now cannot remember how to turn it off:

I would be very grateful for the instruction to turn it off.

Try right clicking on you panel and choose something like remove panels. I am in kde4 now so can't reproduce at the moment. But it is there
