I am running Kubuntu Gusty Gibbon(7.10) with Compiz Fusion, and I was wondering whether if when i upgrade to Hardy Heron all my compiz settings and effects will still be available and working the same as it is now. I remember having to go through the setup process and it was hectic. I just don't want to have to go through that once again. So I want to make sure that is I upgrade to hard Heron(the final release) if it will effect my Compiz Settings and effects.

Re: Hardy heron Compatibility with Compiz Fusion
Compiz keeps it's settings in your /home directory which isn't affected by an upgrade, so you should be OK.Asus G1S-X3:

Re: Hardy heron Compatibility with Compiz Fusion
Depending on the current version in Gutsy's repos, the settings manager may have a few additional choices but will be very much the same.Asus G1S-X3:
